Camden Motors was founded in 1932 by Henry Michaels in Camden, North London. In 1947, the business moved to Leighton Buzzard, which has remained the location for the company headquarters for more than 60 years. 

Throughout its history, Camden has responded to the needs of its customers and the changing dynamics of the markets in which it operates, adapting to provide the right products and services to help its customers.  The company has progressively developed through both organic growth and acquisition, including the purchase of various manufacturer franchises and the company formerly known as Inchcape Automotive in June 2007.

The Executive Management Team have a material stake in the ownership of the company and are committed to its growth and success.
